7.Prezi- There were several prezis that I found on math topics and history. They would be good to send home for some flipped learning or for extra help when a student gets stuck on homework questions.

Edmodo is an excellent way for reading groups or book clubs to communicate! The main perks -it lessens the noise level in your class and it motivates children to want to discuss the books through writing which is a higher level skill than just verbal discussion. (MMS)

G Google.docs using this to create a short questionnaire for the next unit you are going to study gives you a quick overview of what your class knows and does't know. JB

Explain Everything- this app allows you to create interactive lessons by recording on-screen drawings, annotations, audio and more. Can also be used by students to explain how to do a lesson. Created videos can then be shared in Dropbox or Evernote or uploaded to teachertube. Perfect for the flipped classroom! (ALG)

BUMP -This app makes life too easy! You simply bump your hand to your friends hand (both are holding your i-touch) and immediately both of your contact information is transmitted into each others phone. It can also bump pictures or videos. Very cool concept for saving time but dislike that all reading and writing/typing skills are being eliminated! (MMS)
