Edmodo is an excellent way for reading groups or book clubs to communicate! The main perks -it lessens the noise level in your class and it motivates children to want to discuss the books through writing which is a higher level skill than just verbal discussion. (MMS)

O - Odyssey- There are lots of quizzes here for the 4 content areas. You can find the number for the quiz you want and post it for kids to type in the search box. They take just that quiz and you can see all the results on your teacher computer at one time. This can be used as preassessment if it's something the kids should already know, like a quiz from a lower grade level, or if it's material that they should already know coming into your grade. LD
