Classroom Blog are such a good way to have a more indept discussion, my students spent more time on their blog than if I would have given then tradional homework. It was great. (CC)Blogger- I really want my little ones to use our class blog. I know they use these in upper grades and I think the early exposugreatlgreat so great. I think some time of inquiry based response would be a fun way to explore this idea. RR

Google map - helpful when teaching map skills in all grade levels. Great to apply to the area the school is located in as a reference for the kids that applies more to them. JB
Google Books-Google books is a search engine for text within books. You can search for a specific passage, or poem. This will save time and give a wider selection of books in my classroom. (JJ)

Google Chrome- good to use for research with its speed. JB
GOOGLE READER - Great way to keep up with all of the Blogs you follow - I had forgotten how easy it is to use to gather the updates with out chasing all of the adresses. I could see how this would be easy for students that are following litature blogs (KH)Google Fusion Table - use to collect and combine data. This would work with large numbers and data involved in a place value unit of study. (AW)Google play- lots of great videos, books and games (MR)
Google groups -The new Google Groups is an improved way to participate in online discussions.(MMS)

iMovie for the iPad and iTouch is such an easy way for kids to produce movie trailers. With all the devices we have access to, I can imagine that this would be a great workstation with our devices. It wasn't free - but for $4.99, you get SO much!!! I also bought the MovieDrops and Extras4iMoviefor a minimal amount because I thought the kids would enjoy using them! Here is a link to see the video I made. (I had no way of preventing heads from being chopped off - or I just haven't figured it out. Probably in cropping section!) http://youtu.be/r2dzPwW7sKE TT

i write words liteis an excellent tool for those struggling with fine motor! A picture appears that is spelled with 3 letters. Mr. Crab shows up and you drag your finger in numeric order to form the letters. The kids are forming the letters properly, hearing each letter name, and spelling a word, all while playing a game. If this doesn't already exist, the best "game" would be to have to hold a writing untensil while making the strokes. This would be excellent in Pre-K and Kindergarten. Many gifted students have difficulty with fine motor and in writing it appears that they have behavior issues or struggle with writing. By strengthening these muscles and ability, the students can produce in writing what they are able to do orally. BD

Magisto - This is just like Videoliscious but you use 3 video clips from your camera role to produce a video of something. I'm imagining that this would be great to document a groups progress over a particular experiment or assignment. It's pretty cool and easy. Poem Lover App. This is free. However, I don't know how I feel about this one entirely. I will try to use this for giving students the ability to read good poetry and practice asking questions and answer questions they came up with. I will probably also use wensites like,
http://www.angelfire.com/md/byme/pocket/poetry1.html. This is kid friendly, where I feel the poems will be safer to read. (KE)

Quick Writes on a new unit is an easy way for students in the upper grades to show what they already know about a subject. I needed to post on pre-assessment on the wiki but couldn't find where so I just started posting here as well as the Bloom's wiki KE
